Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions – Cricket Bowling Machines

These Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions apply to all eligible cricket bowling machines purchased from GA Sports Australia.

The Extended Warranty is optional and available for purchase in addition to the manufacturer’s standard warranty.

1. Coverage Period

  • Standard Manufacturer Warranty applies as supplied by the manufacturer.
  • Optional Extended Warranty plans available:
    • Additional 1 Year Extended Warranty
    • Additional 2 Year Extended Warranty
  • Extended Warranty coverage commences immediately after the manufacturer’s original warranty period expires.

2. What Is Covered

The Extended Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic or club-level cricket training use, including:

  • Motor failure
  • Internal electronic faults
  • Circuit board malfunction
  • Feeding mechanism failure
  • Speed control malfunction
  • Remote control malfunction (if supplied with machine)
  • Manufacturing faults affecting normal operation

GA Sports may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace defective parts
  • Replace the machine with the same or equivalent model
  • Offer store credit where repair/replacement is not commercially viable

3. What Is Not Covered

The Extended Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, fading or rust
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse or negligence
  • Damage caused by incorrect setup or assembly
  • Water, moisture, flood or weather damage
  • Damage caused by outdoor storage or improper storage
  • Damage from power surges or incorrect voltage
  • Damage caused by use of non-approved balls
  • Damage caused by excessive dust, sand or debris
  • Battery deterioration or consumable parts
  • Wheels, tyres, rubber components and external covers
  • Accidental damage or impact damage
  • Damage during transportation not arranged by GA Sports
  • Commercial hire/rental use
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications or alterations
  • Machines serviced or repaired by non-authorized technicians
  • Failure to follow manufacturer operating instructions

4. Approved Usage

To maintain warranty validity:

  • Only approved cricket balls suitable for the machine must be used
  • Machines must be operated as per manufacturer guidelines
  • Machines must be stored indoors in a dry environment
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance should be carried out
  • Machines must not be overloaded or operated beyond recommended usage limits

5. Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Original proof of purchase
  • Order number or invoice
  • Photos/videos showing the issue
  • Description of the fault

6. Assessment & Repairs

  • All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment
  • Customers may be required to return the machine for inspection
  • Return shipping costs to GA Sports are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise advised
  • If the claim is approved, GA Sports will cover repair or replacement shipping back to the customer
  • Repair turnaround times may vary depending on parts availability and manufacturer support

7. Transferability

Extended Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Customers are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GA Sports Australia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

to Terms

GA Sports Australia reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
